Ableworld Visit Community Health & Wellbeing Fayre in Congleton

This entry was posted in April 12, 2023

On the 28th March Ableworld Congleton took part in the Congleton Community Health & Wellbeing Fayre. We want to thank everyone that visited our stall and checked out the various products and services that Ableworld had on show!

We would also like to extend our thanks to the organisers of the Fayre for putting on such an amazing event.

Here at Ableworld Congleton we love to take any opportunity to interact with people in the community, we pride ourselves on teaching people about the amazing products and services that we provide.

Customers were delighted to try out several useful utensils, designed to make everyday tasks incredibly easy for those struggling with their mobility. The interest in our products and service puts a smile on our face, as it lets us know just how important we can be in peoples lives!

It was however, unfortunate to see, so many people share the same views around disability and mobility aids. Many said that they feel embarrassed by their disability and as a result do not wish to be seen using a mobility aide.

We wish to take this moment to promote a healthier outlook on disabilities, if we wish to enjoy our lives we must be accepting. Recognising the disability and accepting it is just one step towards a more enjoyable life, mobility aids are here to help us succeed when our own bodies fail us.

With that being said Ableworld Congleton are here to support you on your journey towards functional independence! Whether you need advice, a friendly chat or looking to purchase your first Mobility Scooter. Our incredible store team are here to help, just pop in to store between 9am-5pm Monday through till Saturdays.

The final takeaway from the fayre was so many people were unfamiliar with the location of our store here in Congleton. We wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone we are based on the one-way street in the middle of town, 34 Mill Street.
